SmartyBoy Recording studio launched in the end of 1988 as one of the first underground sources of independent dance tracks in Sweden.

Five 12” vinyl discs and one full album were released on the label “WESTWOOD DEEJAY RECORDINGS” which also contained early recordings from the swedish techno duo LCD.
